TEACHER APPRECIATION IDEA

This was an idea I used last year for the teachers at my son's school.  Since he had a couple of new teachers this school year, I decided to do the personalized hand sanitizer bottles for the new teachers.  I bought some hand sanitizer bottles, removed the labels with goo gone and then attached the names and dots vinyl stickers to the bottles.  I ordered the vinyl stickers from a sign company locally.  To finish it off, I added some pretty ribbon.  I used the school colors; red and black.  The nice thing about this, is that it can be refilled again with hand sanitizer, lotion, or hand soap.

KINDER GRADUATION PARTY

Lucas's Kinder Grad Pool Party

This was my son's kinder grad party that was held at Spanish Oaks Pool Pavilion in Bee Cave, TX on May 12th, 2012.

The pool area was excellent for kids of all ages.  Waterfalls, beach area, lap pool, cascades and bridges was perfect for every guest.

Lucas (middle) is graduating kinder at the end of May.  He was a VERY happy boy.

Since the pool area, cabanas and pool furniture, were so beautiful, I chose not to decorate it with any party decorations.

Favor bags consisted of bubbles, sunglasses, mini beach ball and glow sticks.  I created some favor tags and attached it with a ribbon.

Aside from the favor bags, I also had sea animal water pistols attached with thank you labels.  The water pistols were put in a green bowl with a orange ribbon.  I created a label and attached it to the bowl for kids to take one.

Lucas's gift table.

On the gift table,  I had Dr Seuss's book 'Oh, the Places You'll Go!' for guests to write a message, note or advice for Lucas.

The beach buckets were used for table centerpieces.  I used different colored buckets, wrapped a ribbon on them, attached a label, added a pin wheel and used shredded colored paper.  So adorable!

The dessert table had different assortment of candies in buckets with name labels on them.  I also used a crate to display the swirl pops and inserted the pops into styrofoam covered with candy.

Since it was a pool party, we decided to serve grilled hamburgers (veggie burgers included), grilled hot dogs, assortment of chips, veggie cups (pic above), and fruit.  My husband forgot to take a pic of the food table; maybe it was because he was busy grilling burgers and dogs.

As appetizers we served an assortment of popcorn in these cute beach buckets (provided by a close friend) and for the adults we also served chips and salsa.

I wrapped the forks in napkins, tied them with rope and glued a 'lifesaver' mint on the rope.  Cute huh? Get it 'life saver'?  I put them in a beach bucket and labeled them with a cute tag.

We had lemonade and tea served in these beverage dispensers and labeled accordingly.  We also had water bottles and soft drinks in big plastic tubs.  My husband forgot to take a picture.

Even though the Toy Story cake did not go with the pool party theme, we decided to order it since it was his day.  It made him happy.

Even the adults were having a blast!

It was all worth it!
